Here, the history
is told in stones, in holm oaks and cork oaks, in wild boars, deer, and foxes.
There are names that carry time within them, encompassing a space, a moment, an ancestral connection. An “abegão” is responsible for both the “abegoaria” (stables) and the house. They take care of the space of nature, just as they take care of the space of man.
At Herdade dos Abegões, there is shelter and hospitality, but the weight of its belonging lies in the roots of the landscape. Within these walls, nothing is ephemeral. A guest dwells, becomes a home, and turns the horizon into their reality.
